Porto Book Fair

One of the city’s oldest literary events, bringing hundreds of stands with new publications, book signings, concerts, and unmissable promotions under the theme “Freedom and Future”. This year, Porto-born singer Sérgio Godinho is the guest of honor.

Clérigos By Night 

When: Until October 12th, 7 pm – 11 pm

Where: Clérigos Tower

Clérigos By Night offers the chance to climb the Clérigos Tower at dusk and enjoy a 360° panoramic view over Porto. A unique experience for friends or family, perfect for watching the sunset or admiring the illuminated city. Tickets €5, available online or onsite.

Broadway in Concert

When: September 12th

Where: Coliseu Porto Ageas

The Portuguese Symphonic Band takes the stage of Coliseu Porto Ageas to honor the great musicals of Broadway, celebrating timeless songs that have marked generations. The audience will be transported into the magical world of classics such as The Phantom of the Opera, West Side Story, Les Misérables, Chicago, and Cats.

Porto Pride Festival 2025

When: September 12th–14th

Where: Cordoaria, near Largo Amor de Perdição

This free festival celebrates diversity with conferences, cultural activities, and community events. Porto Pride is the oldest Pride event in northern Portugal, held since 2001, and gathers more than 10,000 people every year.

Nights at the Jardins do Palácio de Cristal

When: September 13th–14th

Where: Jardins do Palácio de Cristal

Debut of this festival that combines music, art, gastronomy, and Portuguese culture, with performances by Fernando Daniel, Sara Correia, Cláudia Pascoal, Diogo Piçarra, Marisa Liz, and Luís Trigacheiro. Tickets €15 per day.

Hyundai Porto Half Marathon

When: September 14th, 9 am

Where: Avenida Dom Carlos I, Foz do Douro

The Hyundai Porto Half Marathon returns with a 21 km course entirely through the city’s streets. The race starts in Foz and brings together athletes from all over the country. For those preferring something lighter, there’s also a 5 km Mini-Marathon, open to all ages and non-competitive. Even if registrations are sold out, it’s worth cheering on the runners along the route.

BloomFEST 2025

When: September 19th–21st

Where: Maia Aerodrome (about 20 minutes from downtown Porto)

BOIL Fest

BOIL Fest returns for its second edition, transforming Serralves Park into a space for debate and action on climate change.
